Black Country Curry House gets a signage makeover
The Vine, a well known curry house in West Bromwich had excellent reviews for food and service but didn’t quite live up to their reputation on the venue’s styling.
As we know here at HNS Signs, interior styling and signage is very important when it comes to branding and customer appeal and we are pleased to say The Vine also believe in this philosophy and got in contact with Studio Able, an interior design agency who we have worked with before.
Tasked with sprucing up the external signage and providing two external signs; one traditionally hand painted (sign written) using reclaimed wood and the other an LED halo illuminated sign with built up letters to provide the wow factor on arrival (and to ensure nobody misses this infamous curry house!)
We prepared the reclaimed wood thoroughly and paper traced the artwork on the boards using chalk and began to traditionally hand paint the lettering for the signwritten peice using One Shot oil based signwriting pain and expert sable brushes.
The second signage featuring halo illuminated letters, was largely prepared using an in-house CNC to hollow the letters and cut into shape, spray painted and finished expertly with satin based varnish. LED’s were fitted to the inside of each letter with a 3mm thick clear acrylic added to ensure the signage would remain water tight and weatherproof.
Two days later, the signs were installed on site by us.
